There are many variations on this recipe. You can add garlic, rosemary, cumin, paprika, onions, shallots, almost anything you like in whatever combination catches your fancy. It’s very good in the basic form and you can customize it depending on your mood.
Roasted Potatoes

Equipment
- 1 Sheet pan
- 1 Cutting board
- 1 Knife
- 1 Large mixing bowl
Ingredients
- 6 Yukon Gold potatoes
- 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt & pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees
- Cut the potatoes into chunks 1/2 – 1 inch
- Put the cut up potatoes in the mixing bowl and add the olive oil
- Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper
- Spread the potato/oil mixture out on the sheet pan in a single layer
- Put the potatoes in the upper middle of the oven and roast for fifteen minutes
- Turn the potatoes and cook for another fifteen minutes
- Test for doneness and serve
